I want to greet everyone a very Merry Christmas. First off, I hope you didn’t forget the very reason for this wonderful season. I want to greet our Saviour a Happy Birthday. Imagine if He wasn’t born into this world, where are we going to be at this very moment? Thank God for sending His One and Only Son to save us. So do not forget to hear Mass, alright? Btw, were you able to complete the 9 days of ‘Simbang Gabi’? I hope you did. I also pray that you went to those 9 days because you were there to glorify God and not show off your new outfits (if you know what I mean). Anyway, I owe this much of a blog post to everyone so here it is.

Who doesn’t love Christmas, right? A lot of people are saying that Christmas is for the children and I do agree with that. Also, this is the season where you’d really receive a lot of gifts from your loved ones. Now I can say that I’ve ‘graduated’ from expecting to receive gifts and it’s more fulfilling to actually give gifts. Imagine those smiles from those who receive gifts. I just love the feeling.

Now, my family’s Noche Buena (that’s Christmas Eve here in the Philippines) is like any other Noche Buena that we have, we only prepare simple food because my parents believe that being together is the best way to celebrate. The only difference is that, instead of celebrating in the Metro, my parents decided to celebrate Christmas Eve in the Province. Also, my other sister has work so she wasn’t able to celebrate the Christmas Eve with us. However, she celebrated Christmas itself with us. So I want to share these simple yet yummy foods that made my tummy super happy. Btw, these were made by my loving Parentals and we bought doughnuts because we can’t live without dessert.

Food Feats: For Noche Buena, we had Lechon Kawali, Ham, Macaroni Salad, Krispy Kreme Original Glaze.

For Christmas Day, we went back to Manila to celebrate with the rest of the family members. We celebrated with my wacky cousins from my Mother’s side. I can’t imagine not ever celebrating the season with these wackos. We grew up celebrating Christmas together and I just love them to bits.

Our scrumptious meal, Daddy dear prepared our favorite Crispy Pata and his to-die-for sauce that goes with it, Chopsuey, Beef Mechado, Shrimp, Crab, Fish Fillet, and our desserts are Fresh Fruits and the Mocha Cake from Goldilocks.

Fashion Feats: For Noche Buena, I always go for the simplest of outfits because I Christmas is Jesus’ day/night and it’s not about me. So for Christmas Eve, I went with a basic tee from H&M, leggings from Fashion Market in Market! Market! and my pair of black shoes from Kicks.

For Christmas Day itself, I wore a basic black tee from H&M, washed high waist pants from Fashion Market in Market! Market! and my pair of black sandals from H&M. For my accessories, I wore the pair of Candy Cane earrings from H&M and I used my envelope sling bag from H&M as well.

Makeup Feats: Powder and Blush from Maybelline, Contour and Highlight duo stick from City Colors, Eyebrow kit from Nichido (eyebrow pencil in Tiger Eye) and brow powder from BYS, Eyeliner from Fashion 21, Mascara from Ever Bilena, Lipstick from Wet ‘n Wild.

Aren’t these cute? I wore the Reindeer for Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas from my family to yours. Thank you for giving me the best Christmas gift even before Christmas arrived. I love you and God bless you all.
